Fake Ferns - $2 per fern

My mother in law used these two different types of fake ferns to place in terra cotta planters that were at my venue site to give more of a lush look. I'd have to check but I think I have about a dozen of these ferns. The second photo is of fake "silver dollar" plants... we used these to submerge under water with rocks in hurricanes which gave off the same effect as submerged orchids.

These very sturdy pedestals were made by my father in law out of wood. They are painted white and the edges have been smoothed down. I used the pedestals to hold up lanterns for our ceremony but there are many other possibilities (e.g. hold up a table centerpiece, used underneath a tablecloth to prop up buffet items, etc.) The pedestals are heavy so a better buy for a local bride.

*Update 6/19/09: I am attaching a new photo of shoes after being worn (bottom photo). The soles are scuffed and the satin fabric shows signs of wear; based on the condition of the shoes I am asking $20.

These shoes are to be worn on my wedding day. Satin ivory with a faux diamond knotted design at the front. Heel is a little over 4 inches. I'll determine a selling price depending on the condition after I wear them, but let me know if you're interested.

Selling my floral monograms, available after the wedding... The pictures don't do the monograms justice! The "B" is 24 inches tall and the smallest letters are aout 9 inches tall. Each letter was spray painted ivory and then I individually glued on green hydrangea petals. The letters are made from hollow cardboard and thus wouldn't be too expensive to ship.

I put the ribbon on the sides because these are meant to be attached to chiavari chairs... not sure if they'll tie as nicely to folding chairs. The ribbon was put through a slit in the cardstock so it can be removed if you wanted. Available after wedding.

20 inch, gold burning sparklers will be for sale after my wedding. I read many bridal bios saying that not everyone used a sparkler and they always had extra. But I was scared of running out so of course I bought one for every person. I do expect to have extras though. Number of available sparklers and price to be determined. Since I don't have specifics, this is more of a "heads up post" if you are interested.

72 clear glass votives, 35 cents each or $25 for all 72. These will be available after my May wedding. I have also purchased the white votive candles but only anticipate burning them for half their life (5 hours out of 10 hours). If you want to keep the candles in there I can do that. And yet another DIY idea I ran out of time to do. I have a king size duvet cover and 2 long pillow cases in the orange damask design. I got the idea to buy this bedding set vs. actual fabric from a store since it was much more cost effective. My original plan was to cut the sheet up and make table runners for our rehearsal dinner and possibly make a ring bearer pillow with the extra fabric.

This black 2 button suit includes pants, white collared shirt, a black vest, and a black jacket. It's not a top quality designer suit but I think it will look just as good in pictures for a little boy who is wearing it for 30 minutes anyways. I also have a Penguin Clothing Co. brand skinny tie in an orange color (similar to the Michael Kors tie in the above post) that I can throw in for $2.

Another DIY idea that never made it to fruition. Large hole punch... creates circles that are 1 3/4 inch across. I punched out a sample circle and embossed it with my custom made stamp. And I'll throw in the floral punch for $1 if you're interested.

Another DIY bride's friend! The Xyron machine allows you to make stickers by simply placing your sheet of paper (plain, design, wrapping paper, etc) through the machine and turning a knob. No electricity and no heat. All you have to do is buy the re-fill cartridges. I used them for my invitations... makes cardstock or paper stick seamlessly together at all corners and sides, no bumps or cheap tape.

I am a DIY bride. However, I ran out of time to send save the dates and we went with a different invitation design so actually these stamps were used more for trials and fun rather than my actual invitations. These worded stamps are available for sale now.

I'm selling the Save the date, RSVP, and Thank You stamps for $5 each. They have been gently used (mostly the save the date one since that was my first stamp and was most practiced on) but are in perfect working condition.

The floral stamps I will sell all together for $15. Also gently used. To be sold after the wedding since there might be things I end up doing that need stamping (e.g. programs or menus).

I bought this crinoline thinking my dress would need some oomph after I tried on the sample. My dress has since come in and a crinoline is not necessary after all. I had big plans for these pebbles!! But of course plans change and I don't really need them after all. I believe I have 58-60 bags of the crystal pebbles, 12 or 13 bags of the larger river rocks and 7 or 8 bags of the smaller river rocks. I also have 4 or 5 bags worth of all black rocks. As you can see in the photo, I did open a few of the bags to do a trial run/mock centerpiece but I have my receipt so I can double check how many bags I have of whichever item if you are interested. These shoes are popular and for good reason. I ended up changing my dress from white to ivory which is why I no longer need these white shoes. They are about a 3 1/2 inch heel and satin upper. I purchased the shoes in a size 6.5 wide because I thought the material might be stiff so this would give a little wiggle room. (If you are wondering, I do range from a size 6 1/2 to a size 7 1/2.) These are brand new in a box with no marks or scuffs.

These Charles by Charles David satin peep toe high heels are super cute. They were to be worn for my engagement session photos but we changed to a beach setting last minute and the shoes were no longer appropriate. They are a size 7 1/2 with a 3 to 3 1/2 inch heel. Brand new in box but the sole looks a little scuffed due to me modeling them around my house. Has not been worn outside.
